Here is a summary about how I got into design. I graduated with honors from Louisiana State University with a major in Graphic Design. After graduating from LSU, I moved to Chattanooga where I worked at an advertising agency that did projects for Mohawk Carpet, Double-Cola, The Kidney Foundation and United Way, just to name a few.

After several years in Chattanooga, I moved to Jackson, TN, where I worked at a large printing company with an inhouse design team. I got to work with a variety of clients ranging from Republic Doors & Windows, Lambuth University, Union University and Jackson-Madison Hospital.

Finally, my heart led me back to East Tennessee where I settled in Knoxville. I joined Conway Marketing Communications as an Art Director and got to work with clients like Mahle Motorsports, Powermatic, Stanley, Holley, Hennessy, Berkline, Bristol Compressors, Lockinvar and Sea Ray.

I am currently the Creative Director for Lokar Performance Products. At Lokar, I have art directed television commercials that have appeared on Spike TV, Speed, Discovery Channel and ESPN2. I also design and produce 20 - 30 magazine ads each month that appear in car magazines such as Hot Rod, Super Chevy and Street Rodder. Some of my most recent projects include trade show banners, designing a fullsize trailer wrap and creating the annual 72 page catalog.

For the past 12 years, I have also operated Ken Wagstaff Design. With this business, I have worked with Garde Bien Salon, Union Printers, McAffee, Standard Charter Bank, EGuardian, Innov8 Educ8, Advanced Surface Systems, Jam Factory as well as many other companies and organizations in the United States and internationally. Personally, I am married and have a son and daughter. I enjoy spending time with my family, working on my Mac computer, learning about new design trends, and doing home improvement projects.
